Open Problems

We will explore the establishment of a scientific research and innovation mechanism based on the "problem identification-focusing-release-solving-verification" model. This involves conducting extensive research into the practical needs of major projects and local departments to identify and refine typical mathematical problems. By aligning with national strategic priorities and cutting-edge advancements in mathematics, we will shape the layout of research directions. For the refined mathematical problems, solutions will be solicited through methods such as publishing open-call challenge lists, organizing competitions, and holding mathematical modeling contests. Finally, research outcomes are delivered to the relevant departments for their validation and application, or are tested and applied through dedicated verification platforms, ultimately facilitating the translation of research into practical use.
